Join Bruce Troy of Wild Birds Unlimited, as he leads us on a leisurely walk through the park to seek out beautiful songbirds. Winter can be a wonderful time for bird watching. While some birds migrate south to sunny skies and warmer winters, many birds stay here in our area and tough it out. We’ll meet in the parking lot at the Environmental Education Center and boat rental. Bring your binoculars and have fun looking and listening for birds.

When you're making your list of holiday presents for your friends and relatives, don't forget to include your backyard birds! Bring the children and make some magnificent treats for the birds. We’ll string whole peanuts on string! We will decorate pine cones and bagels with peanut butter and bird seed. Create bird-seed treats to take home and hang for our feathered friends.
